Genesis

The Land of the Old Faith was ruled by inhumane, dark worship. Chaos, Famine, Pestilence, War, and Death. These were the domains of the Five Bishops until they were betrayed by their own brother, who wore the robes of the reaper.Fearing the Old Faith will be dismantled in His conquest, they condemned Him into limbo: bound in chains never to touch the mortal realm again. However, it is said that The One Who Waits will one day be liberated by a lamb as pure as snow. Thus, in a bid to prevent His unshackling, the Bishops have declared that all sheep, now branded as endlings, will be put to death. And as it was written, so shall it be done. The last of their kind, Kambris was captured by the Bishops, hobbled heels condemned to exhaustion. They were once sheltered by a kind farmer in exchange for menial labor and the harvest of their long and rare fleece. But after the bounty for endlings have increased, Kambri was surrendered and marked for death at year's end. What the Bishops did not account for however, was that by executing Kambri, they were sent directly to The One Who Waits, who offered the pitiful creature's revival in exchange for fulfilling the prophesy that would set Him free. With the Red Crown now bequeathed to them by their new master, Kambri has been forced to let go of her mortal identity in order to harness the unholy divinity laid upon their head. Now known as The Lamb, it had become the sacrificial vessel of the Bishop of Death: a divine omen of what is to come, a looming harbinger of impending change.

The Vessel

The Lamb is the current leader of the Sanguine Blossoms, the newly erected cult dedicated to worshipping the chosen vessel of The One Who Waits.Despite the nature of their god, The Lamb perceives the cult as more of a safe haven for others under the oppression of the Old Faith. Her chosen doctrines are more pacifistic; thus they are usually baffled when its followers make violent or mean-spirited requests. But to survive the harsh crusades ahead, even The Lamb understood that he must part from its innocence to protect their flock. However, that does not mean they will submit to His resolution when the time comes. Far from it.
